CRISPI CALLS ON SMITH TO DENOUNCE HORRIFIC TREATMENT OF TRUCKERS
Seaside Park, NJ – America First conservative Mike Crispi today called on Congressman Chris Smith, (RINO-VA), to call out the human rights abuses of Justin Trudeau and his horseback mounted police force.
“Peaceful protestors have gathered to make their voices heard, yet Justin Trudeau is trampling their rights,” Crispi said. “Where is 41-year Congressman Chris Smith who fancies himself as a champion of human rights?”
Crispi lamented seeing the bank accounts of peaceful protestors frozen and the protestors themselves trampled by Canadian police sent in on horseback on the orders of Trudeau and other insecure, leftwing, statist politicians.
“The images we see of the horseback mounted police trampling peaceful protestors are horrific,” Crispi said. “Where is Chris Smith? It’s easy to call out human rights abuses in third world countries most Americans have never heard of, but where is Smith when these crimes are perpetrated on our neighbors to the north?”
Crispi pointed out that American convoys of truckers protesting for freedom are now coalescing around America and he demanded that Smith have the courage to be proactive in protecting their rights to peacefully assemble.
“Congressman Smith and the other RINOs in Congress should be reminding the Biden Administration that American truckers are protected by the First Amendment and that no harm should come to them if and when they peacefully assemble in the nation’s capital,” Crispi said. “These men and women deserve proactive leadership, but Smith is silent because he’s become part and parcel of the Washington elite.”
