CSC Diversity Council slated to hold Roundtable Discussion in April

TRENTON – The New Jersey Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) state workforce Diversity Council will hold a virtual roundtable discussion on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The confirmed panelists for this roundtable discussion include B. Sue Fulton, Chair and Chief Administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission, who will focus on Gender Identity and Inclusion in the Workplace, followed by Tennille McCoy, Assistant Commissioner of the Department of Labor & Workforce Development, who will explore the Business Case for Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace. The final panel discussion on Diversity Recruitment and Outreach will be presented by Lisa Brown, Counsel to the New Jersey Attorney General; Marvin Ross, Chief Diversity Officer at New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection; and Joseph Forte and Dominique Norwood of the New Jersey Civil Service Commission’s Office of Diversity Programs.

Information about the State Workforce Diversity Council:

In September 2019, under the direction of NJ Civil Service Commission Chair/CEO Deirdré Webster Cobb, the state workforce Diversity Council was formed. The Council serves as a State forum to facilitate diversity and inclusion training, developing programs, providing resource information, and making recommendations on issues related to the civil service workforce.
