CWA Endorses Congressman Donald Norcross

(Cherry Hill, NJ) – The New Jersey State Council of the Communications Workers of America (CWA) has endorsed Donald Norcross for re-election to the House of Representatives in New Jersey’s First Congressional District.

“The CWA is a proven leader in the fight for working families and I am proud to have earned their endorsement,” Norcross said. “With their support I can continue our efforts in Congress to make sure America works for working people – not just billionaires and corporations – by raising the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour and protecting the rights of workers to organize and use their collective voice in the workplace.”

CWA represents more than 70,000 working families in New Jersey, including over 40,000 state workers, 15,000 county and municipal workers, and thousands of workers in the telecommunications, airlines, healthcare and direct care industries.

In addition to the CWA, Congressman Norcross is proud to have the support of Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Governor Phil Murphy, and a diverse group of organizations that represent the interests of working people and our rights to education, health care and environmental justice, including the Congressional Progressive Caucus, the National Education Association (NEA/NJEA), the Planned Parenthood Action Fund and the Sierra Club.
