CWA ENDORSES JOSHI FOR EDISON MAYOR

Joshi is Best Candidate For Edison’s Working Families

(TRENTON, NEW JERSEY)  The Communications Workers of America (CWA) enthusiastically endorses Sam Joshi to be Edison’s next mayor.

New Jersey needs leaders at all levels of government who support unions and believe in collective bargaining,” said Fran Ehret, CWA NJ Area Director. “Sam Joshi fits that mold, and we’re thrilled to endorse his run for mayor. CWA represents well over 1,000 families who call Edison home. We look forward to talking to our members and their neighbors about moving our shared vision forward for working families.”

CWA represents more than 70,000 working families in The Garden State – including 40,000 state workers, 15,000 county and municipal workers, and thousands of workers in the telecommunications, airlines, healthcare and direct care industries. Over 11,000 CWA workers live in Middlesex County alone.

Primary Day is Tuesday, June 8th, 2021.
