CD- 11 REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE PAUL DEGROOT ISSUED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT ON PRESIDENT BIDEN’S STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS LAST NIGHT

“By showing weakness, by caving into the climate extremists on the left, by trying to buy votes with taxpayer money – Joe Biden weekend himself, his presidency and America — and in the process he emboldened Vladimir Putin, which led to the crisis in the Ukraine. So, what did Joe do with his State of the Union Speech last night? He ignored his failures, reached back to 2020 and dusted off his campaign speech and red it to us. And unfortunately, Biden’s enablers like Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill applauded it.

Rep Sherrill and the President ignored the real state of America: the runaway inflation that is crippling families and companies; the rising gasoline prices; increased crime by miscreants who are treated to revolving door justice by liberal prosecutors; a nation overrun by illegal aliens; schools that ignore parents’ concerns about what their children are being taught. That is the America that we are living in. That is the state of our precious Union. I’m not sure what America Joe Biden and Mikie Sherrill are living in – but it’s not the America that you and I live in.

We must stop Biden’s enablers like Rep. Mikie Sherrill. I’ll take her on, expose her for what she really is and beat her in November. I want to go Washington and fight to get important things done for the American people.
