Congressman Tom Malinkowski (D-NJ 7th District) today proudly endorsed Democratic Legislative District 23 Assembly candidates Denise King of Bedminster and Marisa Trofimov of Bethlehem Township.
“Marisa and Denise represent a new brand of innovative leadership that will give 23rd District residents the voice they deserve in Trenton,” Malinowski said, following a weekend event where he appeared with King and Trofimov in Branchburg.

King and Trofimov said they were honored to receive Rep. Malinowski’s endorsement, with Trofimov noting that first-term Congressman is a strong, tireless advocate for his constituents.

“As a former Capitol Hill staffer, I can tell you first-hand that Tom is not only the hardest-working Congressman I’ve ever met but one of the hardest working men I’ve ever met. And you can count on Denise and me to work just as hard for residents when elected to the NJ Assembly,” Trofimov said.
As a nurse and CEO with decades of expertise in the intellectual and developmental disabilities fields, King noted she appreciates Malinowski’s continued support for affordable healthcare and improving access for mental health and substance abuse treatment.

Family law and estate attorney Trofimov, who is the mother of two young boys, said she and King also agree with Malinowski on protecting drinking water in the 35 municipalities communities and for the 1.2 million residents within the 23rd district.
