DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE FOR ESSEX COUNTY SHERIFF JOHN C. ARNOLD, JR. RECEIVES THE UNANIMOUS ENDORSEMENT OF THE ESSEX COUNTY PBA CONFERENCE

All 17 County and Municipal Law Enforcement Agencies Represented By the PBA Want John Arnold As The Next Essex County Sheriff over Armando Fontoura.

Newark, NJ – April 26, 2021 – On Thursday, April 22, 2021, the entire delegation of the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association (PBA) representing all 17 unions within Essex County voted unanimously to endorse former Newark Deputy Police Director John C. Arnold, Jr. for Sheriff Of Essex County in the upcoming Primary Election.

The PBA Conference is comprised of all PBA union locals representing law enforcement personnel from Police Departments throughout Essex County including Corrections.

Many members of the Essex County Sheriff’s Office represented by PBA Local #183 are in full support of John Arnold’s candidacy to become Sheriff but due to fear of retaliation they cannot publicly come forward.
