Progressive Democratic State Committee members Sharon Ransavage (D-Hunterdon)
and Ben Silva (D-Sussex) announced their support for John Currie for NJ Democratic State
Committee Chair.

Ransavage and Silva are joined by progressive groups across the state, including Our
Revolution – Essex County, Rutgers Progressives, and Our Revolution – Trenton Metro, which
have all called for Currie to be re-elected to another term as party chair.

“We’re standing by Chairman Currie because he has stood by Governor Murphy’s
progressive agenda,” Said Silva. “We look forward to working with him to expand the
unprecedented gains the party has made under his leadership.”
