Democratic Team Solidified in 14th Legislative District

Senator Linda R. Greenstein and Assemblyman Wayne P. DeAngelo are joined by Assembly Candidate Tennille R. McCoy

HAMILTON, NJ – – Senator Linda R. Greenstein, Assemblyman Wayne P. DeAngelo, and Assembly candidate Tennille R. McCoy became the official Democratic nominees for New Jersey’s 14th Legislative District yesterday. The team now heads into the General Election with strong local support, and is prepared to continue meeting constituents throughout the district.

“People in this district want us to act on issues like bringing more good paying jobs to the district, keeping costs down for families, and making government more transparent,” said Senator Linda R. Greenstein (D-LD14-Plainsboro). “Wayne and I have always put the people of our district first, and we are excited to welcome Tennille to the team.”

“Our constituents need someone who is on their side fighting for their communities and their future,” said Assemblyman Wayne P. DeAngelo (D-LD14-Hamilton) “That has always been our priority and we thank the voters of the 14th district for their support as we continue working towards the November election.”

The two incumbents, Greenstein and DeAngelo, will be joined on the ticket by first-time Assembly candidate Tennille McCoy. “I’m running to ensure we build resilient communities across the district to move our state forward for the future of New Jersey

families,” said Tennille R. McCoy (D-Hamilton). “As the daughter of two union members, I

know the value of service to others and have always carried that sentiment with me in my work in government, the private sector, and nonprofit community work. I’m excited to meet voters, hear their concerns, and take those issues to the Assembly.”

“Senator Greenstein and Assemblyman DeAngelo bring the strong relationships and experience needed to fight for their constituents, and Tennille is an excellent addition to the team ready to hit the ground running,” said Mercer County Executive candidate Assemblyman Dan R. Benson (D-LD-14-Hamilton). “They are a formidable team ready to do what is needed for the future of New Jersey families.”

Together, the LD 14 Team presents strength entering the General Election in Central Jersey. “We will run a strong grassroots campaign, we won’t take anything for granted, and we plan to go back to Trenton after November to do what’s right for the community,” said Senator Linda R. Greenstein. “We know our constituents – and we will always be on their side.”
