Deputy Commissioner Debbie Mans Joins First Lady Tammy Murphy at Clean Water Action’s 32nd Annual Conference:

Edison, NJ–DEP Deputy Commissioner Debbie Mans will join First Lady Tammy Murphy as the keynote speakers at Clean Water Action’s 32nd annual conference, Rise Up, Persist & Win, happening this Saturday, April 28th, 9 am – 5 pm, at The Wardlaw+Hartridge School in Edison, NJ. This premiere environmental conference will also feature a Women in Power & Emerging Leaders Panel with Elizabeth Juviler, Organizer for NJ 11th For Change and Amanda Nesheiwat, Environmental Director for the Town of Secaucus.

Clean Water Action’s 32nd annual conference brings together concerned residents, environmental groups, students, scientists and policymakers for a one-day conference about the most pressing environmental issues facing New Jersey. Event-goers will learn new skills in a series of environmental workshopson topics ranging from safe drinking water, electric vehicles and green energy to environmental justice, climate resiliency, and safer home products. The conference also includes a Media Workshop & Skills Training hosted by Randy Bergmann, editorial page editor of The Asbury Park Press.

Conference attendees can also peruse almost a dozen Green Vendors including  Beautycounter, Clean Water Fund, Citizen’s Climate Lobby, Eco Pool Drain, Isagenix, New Jersey Water Association, Shaklee, Sustainable Haus, and The Wardlaw-Hartidge School. The conference fee of only $35 also includes breakfast, lunch and a networking reception.
