DeSilvio And Konawel Call Out Murphy For Trolling About Dead Dog

Gloucester County arson investigating dog died over a year and a half ago and Murphy has said and done nothing

MULLICA HILL – Gloucester County Commissioners Nick DeSilvio and Chris Konawel are asking why Governor Phil Murphy believes it is acceptable to attempt to use the story of a Republican governor’s dead dog for political gain while ignoring the death of a Gloucester County arson investigating dog for the past year and a half.

At issue are several published reports in which Governor Murphy joined many other leftists to troll South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem for admitting in her memoir that she once put down a family dog.

“A year and a half ago K-9 Ember, an arson investigating dog in the Gloucester County Fire Marshal’s office, died under mysterious circumstances and not a word about it from Governor Murphy,’ County Commissioner Nick DeSilvio said. “One has to wonder if the reason Murphy has remained silent on the matter of K-9 Ember is that she died while in the possession of an elected Democrat.”

County Commissioner Chris Konawel added, “Rather than trolling a governor half-way across the country to gain likes on social media perhaps Governor Murphy should be asking his Attorney General’s office why they haven’t been able to figure out who killed K-9 Ember. His Attorney General’s office has had the case since November of 2022. I guarantee if the death of K-9 Ember happened at the home of an elected Republican the case would have been solved long ago.”

“Governor Murphy’s inability to do what is right is one of the reasons we won election in 2021 and one of the reasons we will win re-election this year.” Konawel said, “Maybe Murphy can do something right and direct his Attorney General’s office to solve a very solvable case.”
