District 40 Democrats On Cable with Transportation Ad
RIDGEWOOD N.J. – Thomas Duch, Paul Vagianos, and Christine Ordway completed a cable ad buy with a 30-second spot focused on District 40’s transportation troubles.
A report published by the Regional Plan Association in August 2017 describes the large growth in traffic across the Hudson River over the last fifty years. The same report details an expected doubling in rail traffic over the next twenty-five years, with significant increases in traffic by car, bus, and ferry as well.

Numerous agencies and nonprofit organizations have indicated the dire need for a new rail tunnel under the Hudson River, as well as updates to existing tunnels and Port Authority of New York and New Jersey infrastructure. Governor Chris Christie halted construction of a tunnel under the Hudson, the ARC Tunnel, in 2010, but planning and preliminary work on a new version of the project, the Gateway Tunnel, was recently started.

Duch, Vagianos, and Ordway purchased approximately $40,000 worth of airtime.

The ad can be watched here.
