Dnistrian, Piperno, Eulner Reaffirm Republican Commitment to New Jersey Taxpayers and Parents Before Election Day

Proposals Put New Jersey Families, Seniors, and Businesses First with a Focus on Affordability

COLTS NECK, N.J. Nov. 6 – Today, Steve Dnistrian, Candidate for NJ State Senate, and Assemblywomen Marilyn Piperno and Kim Eulner of New Jersey’s 11th Legislative District, released the following statement:

“Years of one-party rule led by Democrats like Phil Murphy and Vin Gopal have produced disastrous consequences for our state. From putting New Jersey at the bottom of the list for starting a business to suing parents, the Murphy-Gopal agenda is one that is unsustainable for our future,” said Steve Dnistrian, candidate for Senate in District 11.

Dnistrian continued, “We need a true check on Governor Murphy’s out-of-control power in order to put New Jersey taxpayers and families back in charge. Together, we offer 11th District voters solutions rooted in common sense and our own experience as business owners and parents.”

Assemblywomen Piperno and Eulner said: “With a Republican majority, we can return to Trenton and finally give New Jerseyans a real voice.”

Dnistrian, Piperno, and Eulner offered a summary of the issues they have been discussing with voters throughout the campaign and a list of commitments they will focus on once elected:

1.   Restore and Defend Parents’ Rights: Pass a comprehensive parental bill of rights.

2.   Restore Funding for Schools: Fight to restore more than $70M in state aid cut from schools in LD-11.

3.   Restore Law, Order and Safety in Our Communities: Break the crime wave by reversing Murphy-Gopal soft-on-crime laws and implementing our 5-point plan to combat crime.

4.   Justice for Veterans: Initiate investigations to hold those accountable for the deaths of more than 200 veterans in state-run nursing homes.

5.   Make New Jersey More Affordable: stop runaway state spending, slash taxes to help families and businesses;

6.   Protect the Jersey Shore: Implement a full-stop moratorium on offshore wind development until independent research is completed on impacts to marine life and full transparency about cost to ratepayers is made public.

7.   Explore Energy Alternatives: Enact a sensible, realistic, and affordable energy policy for NJ with full transparency about cost implications for residents of NJ.

8.   Stop Reckless Overdevelopment and Court-Mandated Housing

9.   Support Senior Citizens with meaningful, enduring property tax cuts, not election year gimmicks.

10.                 Help Businesses Thrive: Lower business taxes; repeal needless regulation and work with small- and medium-sized businesses to spur business and job growth.

Legislative District 11 has been named by national Republicans as one of the state’s most competitive races this November. The district encompasses Allenhurst, Asbury Park, Bradley Beach, Colts Neck, Deal, Eatontown, Fair Haven, Freehold Borough and Township, Interlaken, Loch Arbour, Long Branch, Neptune City and Township, Ocean, Red Bank, Shrewsbury Borough and Township and Tinton Falls.
