Dr. Mildred Mihlon to Replace James W. Crawford, III as President of Felician University

RUTHERFORD, NJ – Felician University announced Wednesday afternoon that President James W. Crawford, III, is leaving the Office of President of Felician University, today, April 5. The Board of Trustees has appointed Dr. Mildred Mihlon, Dean of the School of Arts & Sciences, to the position of Acting President.

Since his appointment in June 2021, President Crawford has made numerous contributions to Felician including overseeing the completion of the Wellness and Recreation Center and Montross Avenue parking lot projects, and the creation of the STEM Center in Kirby Hall on the Lodi campus. His commitment to the university and educational innovation has distinguished his service.

Jim D’Agostino, the Board Chairman remarked, “I thank President Crawford for his dedication to our Community. I am grateful to Dr. Mihlon for stepping up at this critical time, and I look forward to working closely with her to ensure a smooth transition. We remain strongly focused on our top priorities advancing the mission of Felician University for our students and the communities we serve, and continued preparation for the coming academic year.”
