Senator Jeff Flake, The NPR Politics Podcast and General John Kelly

October 2019 – Drew University will bring politics to the forefront with the upcoming 2019-20 speakers in the Drew Forum series.

Senator Jeff Flake will come to campus to discuss the current political climate on November 13; The NPR Politics Podcast: The Road to 2020 will record their podcast live at Drew on January 22; and General John Kelly will speak at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown, NJ, on February 12.

The NPR Politics Podcast: The Road to 2020

The NPR Politics Podcast, with host Tamara Keith and panelists Mara Liasson, Domenico Montanaro and Danielle Kurtzleben, will tape a live recording of the nation’s top political podcast, discuss the 2020 presidential election and answer pressing political questions.

General John Kelly
FEBRUARY 12, 2020 | 8:00 P.M.
MAYO PERFORMING ARTS CENTER | MORRISTOWN, NJ

General John Kelly served as the Trump administration’s Secretary of Homeland Security for six months in 2017 before being selected as the White House Chief of Staff. In this presentation, Kelly discusses the critical distinction between governance and politics and the impact it can have on organizations around the world.
All three events are sponsored by the Blanche & Irving Laurie Foundation.

Earlier this season, Drew Forum kicked off with renowned educator and scholar of technology and cognition Cathy N. Davidson, supported by the endowment for the Merrill Maguire Skaggs Lecture series.
