Drulis wins Mercer County Democratic Committee Endorsement in LD16

Princeton, NJ – The Mercer County Democratic Committee unanimously voted for Mitchelle Drulis as their nominee for the open Assembly seat in the 16th Legislative District this evening.

This was Drulis’s third unanimous endorsement of the primary cycle by major Democratic party stakeholders across the 16th Legislative District, after she won the Hunterdon County Democratic Committee and Princeton Community Democratic Organization endorsements in February.

Drulis, a small business owner, lives in Raritan Township (Hunterdon) with her husband Michael and their daughter. She has an extensive knowledge and background in government having served as District Director for Congressman Tom Malinowski (NJ-CD7) and as Chief of Staff to Assembly Joe Egan (NJ-LD17) for 12 years prior to joining Malinowski’s staff.

“Thank you to the Mercer County Democratic Committee, Chairwoman Janice Mironov, Princeton Democratic Municipal Committee Chair Owen O’Donnell, and the countless Mercer Democrats who have supported me thus far.” Mitchelle Drulis said. “I look forward to fighting for Princeton and Mercer County in the State Legislature when elected this November.”

The 16th Legislative District spans four counties including Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, and Somerset counties.
