Drulis wins Princeton Community Democratic Organization Endorsement for Open Assembly Seat in LD16

Princeton, NJ – The Princeton Community Democratic Organization (PCDO) unanimously voted for Mitchelle Drulis as their nominee for the open Assembly seat in the 16th Legislative District this evening.

This was Drulis’s second unanimous endorsement of the primary cycle by major party stakeholders in the district, after Hunterdon Democrats unanimously endorsed her for the nomination earlier this month. Drulis now heads to her second county party convention on March 5th to seek the endorsement of the Mercer County Democratic Committee with the support from Princeton Democrats.
Drulis, a small business owner, lives in Raritan Township (Hunterdon) with her husband Michael and their daughter. She has an extensive knowledge and background in government having served as District Director for Congressman Tom Malinowski (NJ-CD7) and as Chief of Staff to Assembly Joe Egan (NJ-LD17) for 12 years prior to joining Malinowski’s staff.

“Thank you to the Princeton Community Democratic Organization for your unanimous support for Assembly in the 16th District. Thank you to President Nick DiDomizio, and the entire PCDO membership for the faith you have put in me to fight for Princeton and every 16th District family in the state legislature,” Mitchelle Drulis said.

The 16th Legislative District spans four counties including Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, and Somerset counties.
