DUNELLEN HOSTS 10/13/21 NJ MOTOR VEHICLE COMMISSION MOBILE UNIT AT DUNELLEN TRAIN STATION

Dunellen, NJ – The NJ Motor Vehicle Commission’s (NJMVC) Mobile Unit will be serving up to 50 pre-registered customers at the Dunellen Train Station on Wednesday, October 13 from 10 AM – 2 PM. Available services will be limited; please check list of offerings below. To schedule an appointment for the Mobile Unit, register at: Https://tinyurl.com/MVCDUNELLEN.

With the high demand for NJMVC services and limited capacity at office locations, Dunellen Mayor Jason F. Cilento reached out to the Borough’s legislative representatives to arrange for a MVC Mobile Unit to come to Dunellen. Assemblywoman Linda Carter, Assemblyman James Kennedy and Senator Nicholas Scutari of Legislative District 22 are happy to be partnering with Mayor Cilento to bring the Motor Vehicle Commission’s Mobile Unit to the citizens of the Borough of Dunellen. Assemblywoman Carter said, “We had such a great turn out for the Mobile Unit in Plainfield a few weeks ago. That’s when Mayor Cilento called, and we jumped at the opportunity to partner and bring the Mobile Unit to the Borough of Dunellen.”

NJMVC Mobile Unit services at the Dunellen October 13 event may include:

• Driver license renewal and duplicate license;

• REAL IDs renewals (only 12 spots), if expiring within 6 months;

• Handicapped placards and permits;

• Non-driver IDs;

• License plate drop off;

• Change of name or address;

• Add a boat endorsement;

• Add a Veteran designation;

• Register to vote; and

• Organ donation selection.

Mayor Cilento shared, “It’s an honor to work with Assemblywoman Carter’s office to bring the Motor Vehicle Commission’s Mobile Unit to Dunellen. Our offices are in frequent conversations regarding Borough and legislative matters, as well as working together for improved constituent services. This joint effort is just another example of what we can do when we work together.” Please call 908-561-5757 with questions.
