Early In-Person Voting Opens in Hudson County This Saturday, October 26, 2024 with 27 Locations Countywide

On Saturday, October 26, 2024, In-Person Early Voting for the 2024 General Election begins across New Jersey.

Hudson County has 27 Early In-Person Voting Locations.

Registered Hudson County Voters can vote at ANY Early Voting location, countywide, during this period.

The early voting period runs for nine days: Saturday, October 26, 2024 through Sunday, November 3, 2024

Early voting hours will be: Monday through Saturday: 10am–8pm and Sundays: 10am–6pm

Early In-Person Voting is a good option for those who will be out of town on election day, or unable to get to their home polling location before the polls close on November 5th.  It’s also a good option for those who wish to avoid waiting on long lines on election day.

An alternative Early Voting option, especially for those with limited mobility, is to apply for a Vote-By-Mail Ballot. Hudson County Voters may apply for a Vote By Mail Ballot at the Hudson County Clerk’s Office. Deadline to apply for Vote-By-Mail Ballot (by mail) is October 29, 2024. Deadline to Apply for a Vote-By-Mail Ballot (in person) is 3:00pm on November 4, 2024. After you complete your Vote-By-Mail Ballot, return your ballot by one of three ways, mail it back, place it in one of your county’s Secure Ballot Drop Box Locations or return it to the Hudson County Board of Elections Office. If you choose to mail your ballot, it must be postmarked on or before 8:00 p.m., November 5th, Election Day. All three Hudson County Elections Offices are located at: County Plaza, 257 Cornielison Avenue, 4th Floor, Jersey City, NJ 07302.

The General Election is Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Voters who wish to vote ON election day, must do so at their home polling location.  Voters can find their Election Day Polling Location, and other important election information and deadlines, by visiting the Official New Jersey Division of Elections Voter Information Portal at WWW.VOTE.NJ.GOV
