East Brunswick Mayoral Candidate Jesal Amin Urges Residents to Complete Their Census Forms

East Brunswick Mayoral Candidate Jesal Amin Calls Urges Residents to Complete Their Census Forms

For Immediate Release

East Brunswick, NJ- East Brunswick Mayoral candidate Jesal Amin issued the following statement urging residents to complete their census forms.

“I agree with Mayor Cohen on one thing; that the residents of East Brunswick should complete their census forms, to ensure East Brunswick is properly counted.  In addition to determining federal and state representation, the census directly impacts grant money available to municipalities in New Jersey.” Stated Amin. “A census undercount, would mean East Brunswick does not get all of the state money available, which would be felt by residents in their property taxes.”

“As the Murphy Democrats want to irresponsibly borrow $14 Billion and pass the cost on to property taxpayers; East Brunswick needs a Mayor with real word business experience to guide them through the coming fiscal disaster, make the hard decisions and keep the costs away from property taxpayers.” Continued Amin. “East Brunswick is my home; I raised my family here, and despite the high property tax burden I cannot imagine living anywhere else. Every decision I make as Mayor will be to keep East Brunswick more affordable so that all who want to live here can afford to do so. My opponent cannot say the same thing!”
