EASTERSEALS NEW JERSEY APPOINTS FIVE NEW BOARD MEMBERS

Senior Professionals’ Expertise Spans Strategic Marketing, Finance, Tech, and HR

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – Easterseals New Jersey, the largest disability services not for-profit in the state, announced the addition of five individuals to its Board of Directors. They are: Jeaneen Andrews-Feldman, Vandana Khanna, Valerie Nuhfer, Sam Riviello, and Roger Soares. Leaders in their respective fields, the new board members bring diverse talent to their new roles. Their collective experience, perspective, and passions will advance Easterseals NJ’s mission, via the work of its Board.

“These individuals will help us navigate today’s quickly evolving environment so that we can strengthen our social impact and better the lives of people with disabilities. Leaders in their fields, they bring a wealth of talent, initiative, and experience to the work we do. We are grateful that they’ve joined us in enriching the lives of people living with disabilities and those who care about them,” said Easterseals NJ CEO and President Brian Fitzgerald.

Jeaneen Andrews-Feldman is Chief Marketing and Experience Officer at the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) where she is responsible for conceptualizing and implementing SHRM’s global marketing strategy and elevating its thought leadership. With more than 20 years at Fortune 500 companies and new ventures, she is recognized as the “voice for work” among professionals. She was responsible for directing content development and publishing two books, “Connected CRM” and “The Platform Marketer.” Jeaneen attended Villanova University and the University of Scranton where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, and she has completed Cornell University’s Executive Development Program.

Vandana Khanna has been at the forefront of finance and technology for more than 20 years. She heads Unilever’s Digital and Technology agenda for North America as a Director of Digital Finance Transformation.  Vandana has broad finance, technology, data, governance, and related experience working for companies such as Johnson & Johnson, PepsiCo, and Verizon. She is a champion for women in technology and a strong advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. She is a motivational speaker in the Society of Women Engineers Forums. Vandana earned a four-year Chemical Engineering degree at IIT Varanasi, India and an MBA in Finance and Technology from University of Pittsburgh. She lives in Hillsborough, NJ.

Valerie Nuhfer works at Deutsche Bank in the Chief Transformation Office as a Vice President, Change Execution Manager. For more than 20 years, she has provided leadership in strategic planning and transformative board level reporting. Valerie is committed to advancing equity and inclusion at the workplace and has made substantial contributions to her company’s initiatives. She served on the Steering Committee for Women on Wall Street to promote gender equality. Valerie earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and International Business at Penn State University and a Master of Science in Management, Strategy and Leadership from Michigan State. She lives in Kinnelon, NJ.

Sam Riviello is Chief of Staff at Sandbox Films, a documentary studio funded by the Simons Foundation that focuses on the art and beauty of scientific inquiry. Sam manages the non-profit studio for culture, finances, operations, and events. She is active in community engagement, fundraising, donor cultivation, and event management for issues such as animal welfare, reproductive rights, organ donation awareness, and social justice. Sam is highly results-driven and has significantly advanced the goals of the non-profits she supports. She holds a Master of Public Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a bachelor’s degree in Film Marketing from Brooklyn College. She lives in Rutherford, NJ.

Roger Soares brings expansive finance and accounting experience as an Invest Newark’s Financial Controller and a member of their Executive Management Investment Committee. Roger has held senior management positions at Mitchell Titus LLP, PricewaterhouseCooper LLP, and KPMG LLP. He has a strong track record in raising social impact funding for a variety of business and real estate developments. Roger received his BA in Health Administration from University of Rochester and is enrolled as an Executive MBA candidate at the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business. He mentors middle and high school students through The First Tee and iMentoring organizations. He lives in South Orange, NJ.
