Edison’s Mayor & Assembly Enviro Chair to Celebrate “National Drive Electric Week” with Electric Vehicle Ride-and-Drive Event

Supporters rally for electric vehicle infrastructure and accessibility in New Jersey

What: Assemblywoman Nancy Pinkin, Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak, and Mayor Thomas Lankey will join Environment New Jersey and Jersey Renews at an electric vehicle “ride and drive” showcase in Edison. Environmental and transportation advocates will gather at Lake Papaianni Park to talk about ways New Jersey can address pollution from cars, trucks and buses in New Jersey by expanding electric vehicle infrastructure and accessibility. After the press conference, elected officials and attendees will have the opportunity to test drive a variety of electric vehicles on the market.
