ESSEX COUNTY EXECUTIVE DIVINCENZO ANNOUNCES

ESSEX COUNTY CORRECTIONS OFFICER RECOVERS FROM CORONAVIRUS AND WILL BE DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL ON MONDAY, MAY 11TH

Essex County, NJ – Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. announced that Essex County Corrections Officer Sgt. Andrew C. Crooks will be discharged from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital on Monday, May 11th. Sgt. Crooks had been hospitalized with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and had been on a respirator. Personnel from the Essex County Correctional Facility and corrections and police officers from throughout the state will join at the hospital to celebrate his recovery and escort him to Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in Marlton.

Sgt. Crooks’ discharge and the assembly of corrections officers will take place as follows:
