Essex County Freeholder Brendan Gill to Lead NJAC as 78th President

(Trenton) The New Jersey Association of Counties (NJAC) is pleased to announce that that Governor Phil Murphy will swear-in Essex County Freeholder Brendan Gill as the organization’s 78th President at 11:00 a.m. on January 25, 2019 in the Senate Chambers of the State House in Trenton.
“I look forward to leading NJAC this year as it continues advocating for county governments across the State with a unified, proactive, and solution driven approach to solving critical issues,” said Essex County Freeholder and incoming NJAC President Brendan Gill.
The Association will also swear-in its board of directors and executive officers that include: Cape May County Freeholder Marie Hayes as First Vice President, Mercer County Freeholder John Cimino as Second Vice President, Monmouth County Administrator Teri O’Connor as Secretary/Treasurer, and Hunterdon County Clerk Mary Melfi as Immediate Past President. Following the ceremony, students from the Essex County Vocational Technical Schools will provide dessert for invited guests and musical entertainment during lunch at the historic Masonic Temple in Trenton.
