As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to stricken our state and nation, we wish to remind the public that the men and women of both the STFA and the HPAE are on the front lines of maintaining order and public safety and the treatment and care of patients, respectively during this crisis. To be succinct, both of our memberships continue to be in great need of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). We realize that there are many entities also acting in the interest of our memberships in attempting to procure PPE; however, having direct contact and access to our members compels us, the STFA and the HPAE, to unite in this increased effort to assist.

Therefore, members of the public, small business owners and operators, and large corporations alike, are encouraged to participate in this PPE Procurement drive as we, the representatives of over 1500 rank and file New Jersey State Troopers and over 14,000 nurses and health professionals, will immediately furnish our members with the donated items so that they are aptly equipped to confront this pandemic.

The following items are needed by our first responders and healthcare professionals:

• N95 MASKS
• LATEX GLOVES
• GOWNS
• FACE SHIELDS
• ANTI BACTERIAL WIPES
• HAND SANITIZERS

THESE ITEMS MAY BE DROPPED OFF AT THE FOLLOWING COLLECTION POINT BEGINNING WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1, 2020 FROM 10AM until 5PM and EVERYDAY THEREAFTER (MONDAY through FRIDAY):
