Ethan Andersen Named Managing Partner of PSC, Set to Lead Firm’s Next Phase of Growth

Norris Clark, the firm’s co-founder, will continue as a partner through 2025 before transitioning into an advisory role.

TRENTON, N.J. (Jan. 22, 2025) — PSC (Princeton Strategic Communications) proudly announces Ethan Andersen as its new managing partner, succeeding Norris Clark, who has led the firm since its inception in 2012. Andersen assumes the role immediately and will oversee the firm’s day-to-day management, growth, and vision, while Clark remains a partner through 2025 before transitioning into an advisory role.

Clark co-founded PSC in 2012 with the team at the Princeton Public Affairs Group (PPAG), the state’s largest public affairs firm. Since its founding, PSC has established itself as a leading full-service marketing and communications firm. The firm’s tagline, “Your Story Is Our Strategy,” reflects its commitment to creating tailored, strategic, story-driven communications for a broad range of clients. PSC shares an office with PPAG at 160 W. State St. in Trenton and is part of PPAG’s circle of companies alongside Winning Strategies Washington (WSW), a bipartisan federal relations firm.

“I’ve had the privilege and joy of working with a remarkable team and incredible clients who inspire the work we do every day,” said Clark. “Ethan embodies the values PSC was built on—the power of storytelling and a deep commitment to helping clients succeed. I am confident he will continue our legacy and lead the firm into an exciting new chapter of growth and creativity.”

“Ethan represents our next generation of leadership. As managing partner, he will continue to build on Norris’ legacy while supporting the firm’s growth and continued success,” said Dale Florio, Managing Partner at PPAG. “With Ethan at the helm, I’m confident that PSC will remain a strong partner in our circle of companies.”

Andersen first joined PSC in 2018 as communications director and later took on a senior role with United Bank for Africa. Since returning to PSC as a partner in December 2021, Andersen has played a key role in the firm’s expansion. PSC moved from No. 18 to No. 10 in NJBIZ’s ranking of New Jersey’s largest PR firms in his first year as partner. PSC remains the second-youngest firm among the top 20 companies.

Andersen’s career in New Jersey politics began as a Fellow on Sen. Cory Booker’s first statewide campaign in 2013. He later served as state campaign manager for Compassion & Choices, contributing to the passage of the Aid in Dying for the Terminally Ill Act. Andersen also held roles as director of operations for Celebrate New Jersey Now, supporting the New Jersey Democratic State Committee at the 2016 Democratic National Convention, and treasurer for the Committee to Build the Economy, a super PAC backing Murphy’s 2017 gubernatorial campaign. His communications experience includes roles at NisonCo PR and JRS Strategies.

“Norris didn’t just build a company—he created a culture of integrity, creativity, and a commitment to helping clients succeed,” Andersen said. “I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to continue this mission and serve our incredible clients. I look forward to working alongside my talented colleagues to drive the company’s next chapter of growth and lasting impact.”

Clark’s distinguished career spans decades of leadership in communications, public affairs, and community service. He served as a national spokesperson for Ross Perot’s United We Stand America, later joining Perot Systems as director of business development. His résumé includes roles as director of family and community relations at the New Jersey Department of Education, vice president at Magnet Communications, and as deputy mayor of Lower Township, where he oversaw key initiatives in tourism and economic development.

A passionate advocate for promoting Cape May County as a destination, Clark serves on the boards of Cape May MAC, Historic Cold Spring Village, and Cold Spring Church. He is also the founder and organizer of TEDxCapeMay, which has produced educational programming viewed by over 9 million people globally.

PSC serves diverse clients spanning advocacy, healthcare, energy, education, corporate, government, and more. The firm’s growth under Andersen’s leadership reflects its commitment to delivering award-winning solutions that promote organizations, build communities, and enhance reputations.
