EVESHAM DEMOCRATS ENDORSE LAPLACA & NATALE FOR ASSEMBLY

COMMITTEE ENTHUSIASTICALLY ENDORSES ALL COLUMN 1 DEMOCRATS

May 27, 2019, Evesham Township, NJ – The Evesham Township Democratic Committee, representing Democratic voters in the largest municipality in Burlington County and the 8th Legislative District, enthusiastically endorsed Gina LaPlaca and Mark Natale for the General Assembly. In the same vote, the Committee endorsed Dan O’Connell and Linda Hynes for Burlington County Freeholder and Anthony Basantis for Burlington County Sheriff.

“We are excited to have such a dynamic and diverse group of candidates running this year. As a Committee, we overwhelmingly stand behind our Column 1 candidates on the Democratic Primary ballot,” said Evesham Township Democratic Committee Chair Philip Warren. “It is very inspiring to have very experienced, knowledgeable, and passionate people up and down the ballot with Gina LaPlaca, Mark Natale, Dan O’Connell, Linda Hynes, and Anthony Basantis.”

Speaking about the Assembly candidates at the top of this year’s ticket, Evesham Township Democratic Committee Vice Chair Christie DeCarolis added her support to the endorsement, saying that “Mark and Gina have the deep knowledge and motivation needed to tackle the issues facing the 8th Legislative District. Their experience and enthusiasm will give our district a voice in Trenton.”

Regarding the possibility of low voter turnout, Evesham Township Mayor Jaclyn Veasy said that “It is going to be so important for voters to not just come out to vote but to also volunteer. The key to a successful race is the support of the people behind the candidates.”

“Together we can ensure that the progress made in the past two years is not lost because this year’s election doesn’t have a President, Senator, Congressperson, or Governor on the ballot,” said Chairman Warren. “Enthusiasm and momentum for change come from passionate volunteers who aren’t ready to give up the fight.”
