Failing Spadea campaign gives up his radio scam

Campaign failing to raise money-Spadea quits radio show early

New Jersey media outlets POLITICO and NJ.com are reporting that Bill Spadea will depart his “controversial” radio show early – notable since Spadea fought to stay on the air.

The news comes on the heels of Spadea’s pathetic Q4 fundraising report, which showed the campaign with less cash on hand in January than they had in October, and showed his allied Super PAC is effectively broke.

Spadea is abandoning his radio show after Kitchen Table Conservatives launched a new digital ad that draws a sharp contrast between Spadea’s pro-amnesty positions and President Trump’s strong border policies. The video features Spadea admitting he’s “a little more liberal” than most conservatives on immigration.

And it comes as Spadea faces controversies over his recent commentary – dismissing pro-life measuresattacking leaders in the parental rights movement, telling voters the fight over New York’s illegal congestion tax is “a stupid issue,” and, of course, his repeated criticisms of now-President Trump as a failure who should have resigned in shame and who’s time had passed and should not have run in 2024.

Kitchen Table Conservatives released the following statement to accompany Spadea’s surrender:

“There’s no question – Bill Spadea’s campaign for governor is struggling. It’s clear that Spadea is his own worst enemy – every time he opens his mouth, he offends a different type of conservative. To that end, we’re sad to hear he’s tucking his tail between his legs and quitting his radio show. Rest assured – we have plenty of material to remind conservative voters that Spadea is a phony and a hypocrite, and should not be trusted as our Republican nominee for Governor.”
