Dear Editor,
July 7th will mark the third time since 2010 that voters in New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District will vote in a competitive primary to nominate a Republican candidate for Congress. This July 7th, Republican voters, and we hope undeclared voters, will decide who will be the nominee to run against incumbent Pelosi-democrat, Andy Kim. As a group of current and former Mayors, Deputy Mayors, and Committee Woman, of Pine Barren municipal towns, we want to share with the Pinelands community our enthusiastic support for David Richter for the Republican nomination.
We confidently believe that David is by far the most potent candidate to defeat Pelosi-democrat Andy Kim, this November. A record of accomplishment in the private sector as a job creator, and a distinguished academic scholar, easily contrasts him to his primary opponent Kate Gibbs, who struggles with a criminal past and ties to back-room machine politics.
David’s belief in secure borders, a strong national defense, reduced tax rates, and pro-growth economic policies, will contrast easily with liberal-democrat, Andy Kim, who supports higher tax rates for New Jersey’s working families.
As former and current public servants with over 28 years of combined service, and over 50 years of combined small business experience, we recognize the clear choice Republican voters have for the July 7th primary election. With David Richter, we have a candidate independent of political bosses and back-room politics, a conservative businessman, a married father with four daughters, and a strong advocate for Conservative principles. Ask yourself, does the Third District need a candidate with a criminal record, like Kate Gibbs, or an accomplished private sector businessman, David Richter. We need a voice in Washington that understands how critical private sector job-creation is and has the experience to help our economy bounce back. Without a doubt, David Richter will bring the needed vision, voice and qualifications for not only the people of NJ’s Third District, but for America as well.
