North Jersey Rough Riders Fundraiser in Morris County

Former New Jersey gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli will headline The North Jersey Rough Riders Society annual spring fundraiser on April 3 at the Park Savoy in Florham Park.

The NJRRS fundraiser this year will honor local sheriff and legislative candidates and feature Morris County Sheriff James M. Gannon, who is seeking re-election in November. 

Christian Barranco, the founder of the NJRRS, said the organization is proud to feature Ciattarelli as its keynote speaker saying that: “Jack brings valuable real-world experience to the state’s well documented economic problems. He recognizes the tax burden that state residents and businesses live under and he has solutions that will cut spending and lower property taxes – which this state needs desperately. If we want to attract good paying jobs to New Jersey, we need a governor who is willing to cut taxes.”

Ciattarelli is former six-term state assemblyman and a successful business owner who ran in the 2017 Republican gubernatorial Primary Election.

The Rough Riders, whose name honors the work of President Theodore Roosevelt, was started to encourage an honest and far reaching dialogue about economic issues facing our state and our country, said Barranco.

“Our goal is to provide an environment that brings together the three pillars of economic vitality — private sector labor, business owners and elected officials. To have a dynamic economy that provides good paying jobs for workers, we need the three pillars of our economy working toward a common purpose,” added Barranco, an electrician with the IBEW.

The featured guests representing labor and business and the host committee for the April 3 fundraising event will be announced shortly. The event starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are $150 per person.
