Freiman Applauds Attorney General’s Suspension of

ABC Restrictions on Limited Breweries

(TRENTON) – Assemblyman Roy Freiman (D-Somerset, Mercer, Middlesex, Hunterdon) released the following statement Wednesday regarding Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal’s decision to suspend the recent Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) increased restrictions on limited breweries:

At a time when New Jersey is working feverishly to attract new businesses to our state, and create an environment where those already here can flourish, the recently adopted regulations moved the limited brewery industry a step backwards.

“Pausing to give these regulations thoughtful review and consideration is a wise decision, and I applaud Attorney General Grewal and ABC Director Rible for exercising such caution. Doing so will help this industry continue along its current path of collaborative growth.”
