FTGOP Endorses LD-17 Candidates
FRANKLIN TWP, New Jersey, March 15, 2021: The Franklin Township GOP voted to endorse three candidates for the LD-17 races in 2021.
James Abate, Esq. of Piscataway, NJ has been a criminal defense lawyer with a practice in Somerset and Middlesex Counties for over a decade who was inspired to enter the Senate race after seeing what has become of our state under Governor Murphy. The FTGOP Committee endorsed him for the LD-17 NJ Senate seat.
Catherine Barrier and Peter Gabra were endorsed by the FTGOP to run for Assembly in LD17.
Catherine Barrier, a resident of LD-17 for almost 40 years, is an English instructor at Rutgers & Raritan Valley Community College. She brings needed governing and political experience, electability, and crossover appeal – all necessary things for a District 17 winning ticket. Catherine has served as a Franklin Township Councilwoman-at-Large. She has held several committee positions and has received many awards for her achievements. She resides in Franklin Township.
Peter Gabra, is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law and is a Piscataway resident. He is an attorney at Habba, Madaio & Associates in Bedminster.
