Newark — Former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and Captain Mark Kelly will travel to New Jersey on Thursday, November 2, for a series of public events in support of Phil Murphy and Sheila Oliver. They will hold two press conferences before ending with a rally with Phil Murphy.
Giffords and Kelly are the founders of Giffords (formerly Americans for Responsible Solutions), an organization dedicated to saving lives from gun violence. In August, the organization announced their endorsement of Phil Murphy for Governor, citing his strong commitment to fighting for a safer New Jersey by advocating for responsible gun violence prevention policies.
