Ghassali says Gottheimer “Sick” for Voting to Let Babies Die

Montvale, NJ- Montvale Mayor and Republican candidate for Congress in NJ-5, Mike Ghassali released the following statement in regards to Rep. Josh Gottheimer’s vote to deny medical care to survivors of abortion.

Gottheimer joined Nancy Pelosi and fellow New Jersey Democrat’s to vote against the “Born Alive Abortion Survivors Act” which would have provided medical care to babies born alive following a botched abortion procedure.

“Josh Gottheimer is absolutely sick by voting against a bill that would save failed abortion babies lives and would rather let them suffer and die on a cold metal table than to try and save them. He likes to portray himself as a bipartisan moderate but won’t even stand up to his own party and take a stand against infanticide. We are talking about a living, breathing, human beings here, we do more to protect animals from this disgusting process than we do for newborn babies.” Stated Ghassali. “A radical left-wing stance like this is not in-line with the voters of the 5th Congressional District and I have confidence they will value basic human compassion this November and send Josh Gottheimer into an early retirement.”
