Gloucester County Federation of Democratic Women Host Meet the Candidates

(Deptford, NJ) — Record numbers of women are running for political office. Gloucester County is no exception to the trend, and a new local organization is ready to help with the process. The county’s newly formed chapter of the Federation of Democratic Women is hosting an event designed to connect voters to those who want to represent them.

There are 21 female Democratic candidates aspiring to public office within Gloucester County this election season. This is a night to meet with citizens in a Candidates Night at Death of the Fox Brewery on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 7 PM. “We hope that this will bring down any barriers that exist between female candidates and the voters,” said Rachel Green, First Vice President. “This is a relaxed way for candidates to engage with the community.”
