Gloucester County Line Goes To Bashaw And Gustafson

Gloucester County GOP looks forward to a good November

MULLICA HILL – The Gloucester County Republican Party’s screening committee met with candidates for US Senate and the First Congressional District and overwhelmingly recommended that the organization award the county line to Curtis Bashaw for Senate and Claire Gustafson for Congress.

“I am thankful for the work our screening committee put in to vetting the candidates,” Gloucester County GOP Chairwoman Jacci Vigilante said. “The committee was thoughtful and deliberate in their process. The executive committee is proud to award the line to Curtis Bashaw and Claire Gustafson, who along with our incumbents seeking re-election, form a great ticket that Gloucester County voters will support in November.”

Vigilante continued, “Whether from his time as a small business owner or with the NJ First Legislative District Economic Development Task Force or any of the numerous boards on which he has served, Curtis Bashaw understands the issues facing South Jersey and will be a strong advocate for its residents.”

“Claire Gustafson has proved herself to be an excellent candidate, always supporting the entire ticket and working tirelessly to promote the Republican Party.” Vigilante added, “Her experience on the school board and local planning and zoning board demonstrates her willingness to do the yeoman’s work and to lead by example. The committee was very impressed with her knowledge of the issues that plague the district and her plans to address them.”

“I’m proud of the work our screening committee put in and thrilled with our ticket. I look forward to a good year for Republicans in Gloucester County from the top of the ticket down to the local level,” Vigilante said.
