Nutrition sites will close beginning March 17 until further notice

(Gloucester County, NJ)—The Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders and the Division of Senior Services are closing all six congregate meal sites beginning Tuesday, March 17 until further notice.

“The health and safety of our senior residents is one of our top priorities as we combat the COVID-19 outbreak,” Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger.

Freeholder Jim Jefferson, Liaison to the Division of Health and Human Services, says this is the safest way to protect the senior population. “Social distancing is the best way to contain the virus and keep yourself and others safe,” Freeholder Jefferson said.

Home delivered meals, through Serv-A-Tray, will continued to be delivered.
