NJGOP Chairman: Bad budget will impact partisan makeup of the legislature in 2019 Murphy midterms

Trenton, NJ – Following Governor Murphy and Democrat legislative leaders concluding their budget negotiations, NJGOP Chairman Steinhardt released the following statement:

“This was an ugly process that resulted in a budget plan that will tax New Jersey into the dark ages. I believe that the partisan makeup of the legislature will look very different after the 2019 Murphy midterm election.”
