GOPAL, DONLON, AND PETERPAUL CALL ON SENATOR MENENDEZ TO RESIGN

Tinton Falls – Senator Vin Gopal and Assembly Candidates Dr. Margie Donlon, and Luanne
Peterpaul, Esq released the following statement regarding the indictment of U.S. Senator Bob
Menendez.

“Like anyone else charged with a crime, Senator Menendez is innocent until proven guilty and is
entitled to his day in court. However, the charges brought against him in today’s indictment give
us serious concern about his ability to represent the people of New Jersey in the U.S. Senate.
In the interest of the state, we call on Senator Menendez to resign and allow our state to move
forward.”
