GOTTHEIMER HIRES JORDAN COLVIN AS LEGISLATIVE DIRECTOR

WASHINGTON, D.C. — This week, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) hired Jordan Colvin to serve as the team’s Legislative Director:

“I’m very proud to have Jordan Colvin join the team as our new Legislative Director. Like  many former Republicans, when Trump won in 2016, Jordan realized her values were better  represented by the Democratic Party. After switching parties, she ran her husband’s  Democratic campaign against an incumbent Republican in 2018. Jordan then worked to help  elect Joe Biden in 2020, as a part of the Veterans and Military Families for Biden movement.

Jordan also previously served as an undercover DC police officer working on a regional FBI  anti-human trafficking task force. She founded and ran a nonprofit organization to push for  legislation to connect veterans with service dogs, which President Biden recently signed into  law.

We’re excited to have Jordan’s extensive background and skillset to fight for North Jersey  families.”
