WYCKOFF, NJ — Today, Congressman Josh Gottheimer launched a six-figure cable TV buy to promote his JumpStart Jersey initiative and solicit new ideas to share around the State. First announced last November, JumpStart Jersey collects and highlights the best ideas from elected officials, faith and labor leaders, first responders, small business owners, and Jersey families, organizing them in a one-stop-shop, JumpStartJersey.com.

For eight years now in Congress, Gottheimer has followed a simple recipe of success that is the basis of Jumpstart Jersey: meet with Jersey leaders and families and bring the best ideas to Washington to solve the toughest problems facing our country. This initiative will help expand that conversation for the benefit of families in New Jersey’s Fifth District and around Jersey.

Gottheimer has already highlighted JumpStart Jersey ideas from across Jersey at JumpStartJersey.com, spotlighting efforts by local leaders to revitalize their communities, create jobs, invest in clean infrastructure, and help prevent crime.

With this ad buy, which will be airing on cable TV across the State over the next couple of months, including digital advertising, Gottheimer is taking the initiative to families, small businesses, and communities, asking them to share their ideas, and support the effort.

The number one thing I hear from people: Make life more affordable.

That means lowering taxes, fighting the Congestion Tax, and attracting more good-paying jobs.

And it also means helping with day-to-day expenses like childcare.
