Gottheimer Meets with Closter Residents at 29th “Cup of Joe with Josh” Town Hall

CLOSTER, N.J. – On Sunday, Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) met with Fifth District residents at his 29th “Cup of Joe with Josh” Town Hall at the SKF Valley Diner in Closter. Gottheimer has met with his constituents from across North Jersey at these “Cup of Joe with Josh” events throughout his first term in Congress to hear directly from the people he represents.

In Closter, Gottheimer and constituents discussed the work he is doing to lower taxes for New Jersey’s families and small businesses, invest in North Jersey’s crumbling infrastructure, improve rail safety, and protect seniors from rising health care costs and the threat of diseases like Alzheimer’s.

“In order to best represent the Fifth District, I need to hear feedback from North Jersey families directly to know their priorities and how my office and I can best help you,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer. “From those I met in Closter, I heard how our communities are concerned about their commutes, their taxes, and the safety and wellness of their parents and children in the face of rising health care costs. I will take that message with me back to Washington in order to continue to work with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to get things done for the Fifth District. I am grateful to all those who came out and joined me this weekend.”
