Gottheimer Meets with Constituents at 23rd “Cup of Joe with Josh” Town Hall in Allendale

ALLENDALE, N.J. – Today, April 28, 2018, Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) met individually with tables of constituents at his 23rd “Cup of Joe with Josh” Town Hall at the Allendale Bar & Grill. Gottheimer has held these “Cup of Joe with Josh” events regularly across North Jersey to hear directly from the people he serves.

Gottheimer and constituents discussed the movement of his Tax Cut Plan in the New Jersey State Legislature, Gottheimer’s recent recognition as the most bipartisan freshman Democrat in Congress by the Lugar Center and the recipient of the “Spirit of Enterprise Award” from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the latest in his fight for investment in the Gateway Project, the most pressing infrastructure problem facing our nation.

“For me to do my job effectively, I need to hear directly from the people of North Jersey about their priorities and how my office and I can be of help,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer. “What I heard today is that we need lower taxes, safer communities, and better infrastructure. I look forward to taking that feedback with me back to Washington as I continue to work across the aisle to fight for Allendale and the rest of the Fifth District.”
