As Part of “Josh on the Job” Tour, Gottheimer Visits Historic Wyckoff’s Christmas Tree Farm
BELVIDERE, NJ – On Saturday, December 8, 2018, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) visited Wyckoff’s Christmas Tree Farm in Belvidere as part of his “Josh on the Job” tour. Gottheimer, Belvidere Mayor Joe Kennedy, and owner John Wyckoff Jr. toured the 170-acre farm that boasts over 65,000 Christmas trees and helped shake and wrap trees for North Jersey families.
“Wyckoff’s is one of the country’s premier Christmas tree farms and has had its trees in homes from North Jersey to the White House,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “I will continue to fight in Congress for lower taxes, less unnecessary regulation, and small, family-owned businesses like Wyckoff’s that are the backbone of our economy. Thank you to John Jr., for having us at your beautiful farm and for helping generations of families create lasting memories.”
Wyckoff’s Christmas Tree Farm, a seventh-generation family farm, is New Jersey’s official Christmas tree supplier to the White House, won the 2013 National Christmas Tree Association’s Grand Champion Award, and has been named New Jersey’s Grand Champion Grower 10 times. According to the New Jersey Christmas Tree Growers’ Association, the Garden State is home to our country’s first Christmas tree farm.
