RELEASE: Gottheimer Swears in Haworth Councilmembers 

HAWORTH, NJ — On Sunday, January 3, 2021, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) administered the oath of office virtually for Haworth Councilwoman Jackie Guenego and newly appointed Haworth Council President Dina Siciliano.

Gottheimer was joined virtually by Mayor Tom Ference, Councilman Glenn Poosikian, Councilman Andrew Rosenberg, Councilman Michael Bain, Councilwoman Heather Wasser, families and friends, and community members in Haworth.

“Haworth is lucky to have Councilwoman Jackie Guenego and Council President Dina Siciliano as leaders dedicated to making this town an even more special place to live,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “I know that every one of them — from our first responders to our council members, to the mayor — all know the awesome responsibility they hold in their hands. So, I want to thank them and, as a community, we should all thank them because these are not easy times.”

Gottheimer continued, “Yes, they will fight for lower taxes, yes, they will fight to claw back investment, yes, they will work with CSX to repair crossings and work with FEMA to fight storms, but we know until that vaccine has been distributed, we all must stick together like never before.”
