Gottheimer Welcomes Shoppers at New Wyckoff ShopRite Grand Opening

New Grocery Store Will Bring 200 New Jobs to North Jersey

WYCKOFF, NJ – This weekend, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) welcomed local shoppers to the new ShopRite supermarket in Wyckoff at the store’s grand opening. The new 62,000 square foot facility also boasts in-house dietitians, free nutrition counseling, and healthy cooking workshops.

“I want to congratulate Larry Inserra, Ron Onorato and the Inserra Supermarkets team on opening their beautiful new store in Wyckoff. I was honored to stand here last April, when they first broke ground. This new, state-of-the-art facility will bring 200 new jobs to North Jersey as well as healthy, affordable options for our families, including my own,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “I appreciate Inserra family’s investment, both in their supermarkets and in our community, through their extensive charity work. They are a Jersey institution.”

The Wyckoff ShopRite is Inserra’s 23rd supermarket and their 18th in New Jersey. They donate generously to local causes as well, including Table to Table, the Center for Food Action, Hackensack University Medical Center and its Tackle Kids Cancer, and the Multiple Sclerosis Center at Holy Name Hospital. Inserra Supermarkets commemorated their grand opening by donating $10,000 to Community Food Bank of New Jersey to help fight hunger in the community.
