Gov. Phil Murphy to Headline NJBIA’s 2023 Public Policy Forum, Nov. 28

 

Gov. Phil Murphy will serve as keynote speaker at NJBIA’s 2023 Public Policy Forum, the association’s annual conference featuring New Jersey’s top policy leaders, and leading business, academic and political experts, on Tuesday, Nov. 28.

Media are invited to cover the forum in person. It will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Delta Hotels by Marriott Woodbridge, 515 US Highway 1 South in Iselin.

In addition to Gov. Murphy’s presentation, the event will include a Legislative Leaders panel discussion, other informative panels, and an awards ceremony that will include the posthumous honoring of the late Lieutenant Governor Sheila Oliver with the Candy Straight Woman Trailblazer Award.

“This will be a jam-packed morning featuring lots of insights, policy discussion and thoughts on the status and direction of New Jersey’s economy and business climate,” said NJBIA President and CEO Michele Siekerka. “We very much look forward to hearing from Governor Murphy and the lively discussion from all of the presenters at this year’s Public Policy Forum.”

Other panels, moderated by NJBIA’s Government Affairs team and featuring distinguished business, government and media leaders, include:

  • New Jersey’s Economic Outlook, a Fireside Chat: Insights on New Jersey’s economic outlook, as seen through the lens of a major law firm and prominent university. Gain valuable insights into the forces shaping the state’s financial future and legal landscape.
  • The Looming Fiscal Cliff: A timely panel discussion that unpacks the complexities surrounding the looming fiscal cliff. As economic uncertainties continue to mount, this expert panel will provide insights, analysis, and actionable strategies to navigate the challenges ahead.
  • Election Perspectives: Our panel of political experts will dissect the current political landscape following the recent midterm legislative elections, examining key players, emerging trends, and the narratives and issues facing both sides of the aisle.
