Governor Christie: The Next Governor Is Not Going To Have To Worry About The TTF

Governor Christie: These projects are essential to maintaining our economy and moving forward. We know that with $4 billion to spend, there are a lot of people and a lot of projects that need work but we’re going to be able to do that and now we’re going to be able to do it over eight years, rather than the previous five years with which TTF’s used to be funded. So the next Governor is not going to have to worry at all about TTF, except for how to spend the money, not how to raise it because that’s already been done through the plan that we adopted in October, and I hope that the next Governor, whoever it is, will have the same respect for the tax cuts that were part of that plan as I’m sure they’ll have for the tax increases that were part of that plan. We’ll have to wait and see on that though.
