Governor Murphy Directs U.S. and New Jersey Flags to Fly at Half-Staff in Honor of Former Assembly Majority Leader Albert Burstein
TRENTON – Governor Phil Murphy today ordered that the U.S. and New Jersey flags be flown at half-staff at all state buildings and facilities on Monday, January 7, 2019, in recognition of the passing of former Assembly Majority Leader Albert Burstein.

“Assemblyman Burstein lived a life of service, championing numerous progressive causes that improved the lives of New Jerseyans,” said Governor Murphy. “I send my deepest condolences to the Burstein family and his loved ones during this difficult time.”
