HARDING TOWNSHIP, NEW JERSEY — Great Swamp Watershed Association (GSWA) announced today that they will hold a music festival, Great Swamp, Great Music! on Sunday, June 10, 2018, 1:00-5:00 PM at the historic Hartley Farms Polo Field, 9 Hartley Farms Road in Morristown, NJ. “We wanted to kick-off the summer season with a lively, family-friendly event where people could come together and enjoy an afternoon in the great outdoors,” stated Sally Rubin, GSWA Executive Director, “and what better way than with a music festival?!”

Four established, local bands have generously donated their time and talent in support of GSWA: Hub Hollow, The Gammon Brothers, Not Enough Jeffs, and Stomp Box. From rock, to bluegrass, to summertime “get-up-and-dance” music, there will be something for everyone.

Local food vendors including Minute Man and Café Beethoven will offer a variety delicious food. Barbeque beef and chicken, hot dogs and hamburgers, salads, grilled chicken and more will be available for purchase. Frozen treats will be served from an authentic 1950s ice cream truck and server.

The 21 and older crowd can enjoy beer and wine, served from Washington House’s antique fire truck. Additionally, attendees will have an opportunity to browse the unique items available from local merchandise vendors.

“We are extremely grateful to our board chairman, Nic Platt, for offering us the use of the Hartley Farms Polo Field. It’s the perfect setting for festival goers to take in the beauty of our local landscape and gain some insight into the work we do to support the environment.”

The live music festival is open to the public. Tickets can be purchased at GreatSwamp.org or by calling 973-538-3500. Pricing: $20 in advance ($25 at the gate) for adults, $10 for students, children 13 and under are free.

GSWA thanks their generous festival sponsors: Normandy Real Estate Partners, Peapack-Gladstone Bank, Atlantic Health, Debra & John Apruzzese, and Matt & Agi Krauseri.
